Bearbrick Utagawa Hiroshige – The 53 Statues of the Tokaido – Nihonbashi 400% + 100%

This is a project of the Tokyo National Museum, to celebrate its 150th anniversary in 2022.

This Bearbrick is the first from this collection, it represents Hiroshi Utagawa’s famous work, the 53 Tokaido stations.

A series of Japanese prints, created in 1832 following Utagawa’s journey along the Tokaido route, the main axis of Japan at the time.

Articulated heads, busts, arms and legs.
