Comme des Garçons Parfums was launched in 1994 with perfumer Mark Buxton, who created the first fragrances.
Most often grouped in series with a theme and unisex nature, their flavors present unusual notes, often woody and spicy, discreet.

Among those who have written a chapter in the olfactory history of Comme des Garçons Parfums are: Antoine Maisondieu who inspired the "Monocle" collection with "Scent One Hinoki", "Scent Two Laurel" and "Scent Three Sugi" or Antoine Lie who created "Dover Street Market" and "Wonderwood". And Bertrand Duchaufour who gave birth to "Series 3" with "Incense Avignon" and "Incense Kyoto".

Following a faithful collaboration with Rei Kawakubo which began in 1992, the plastic artist Christian Astuguevieille became the artistic director of the perfume house, marked by the pebble-shaped bottles.
He imposes a leitmotiv to all his creations:

"Stimulate the five senses, question perceptions, never cease to marvel".
