The brand name is made up with designer’s daughter name (Yuki Matsuda) “Monica”, Military, and Italy.
The brand started with designer’s love for American heritage culture and grief for the loss of American Made products.
Going against the recent mass production trend, which is done mostly in overseas, Monitaly garments are produced in U.S.A., while maintaining the brand concept “Casual Up”. Instead of bringing back vintage clothing, Monitaly mix the vintage construction & fabric with our twist & refined cut so that we could design something with vintage taste & fresh look, something you cannot find in Vintage clothing!
