According to Marcus Wainwright and David Neville, there were no jeans with a great cut comfortable enough, out in the stores. Therefore they decided to start making them on their own!
In 2002, they set up their headquarters in Kentucky, in former Levi’s factories, and they founded “Rag & Bone” in honor of American vagabond rag-and-bone men.
In the beginning, the brand was only about denim, but soon enough, the two friends found their style midway through American workwear and British tailoring.
In 2005, the first menswear collection got established through an efficient, simple and modern look but always faithful to the US traditional crafts. Besides, most of the classic styles of the brand are still designed with the same standards from more than 50 years ago.
In short, the brand presents a humble and genuine fashion world, proudly standing out alongside any current trend, in order to ensure a comforting timelessness!
