In the beginning of 1960's, a company called Rocky Mountain Featherbed was established in Jackson, Wyoming producing Cowboy garments for protection against cold weather conditions.
The original brand no longer exists. In 2005, Kinji Teramoto of 35SUMMERS Co. a noted collector, re-registered the Rocky Mountain Featherbed brand.
Today we see ourselves as the imaginary founder of this company whose first production was actually sleeping bags, which are true tradition, reviving the original and thus pursuing the legend.
The most iconic item were the cowhide-yoked down vest, the cowhide-yoked mountain parka, originals which are now very rare pieces for collectors.
The brand continues to be hailed as a masterpiece in today's market.
