Common Project is an Italian American brand (based in New York) created by Flavio Girolami and Prathan Poopat in 2004. The name "Common Projects" represents their will to set up a project together. For a long time, it was just a code name, before they figured out what the project would be. Finally, it became designing the shoes that they had been dreaming of. Common Projects designs shoes, sneakers and some handmade accessories, made in Italy. An understated minimalist style, no brand, no logo; it corresponds to the common features of the luxury industry. The brand remains rather confidential through a very selective distribution process.
